2025 Standing Committees:
Social - The social committee plans and organizes social activities of the club. Social events usually consist of picnics or catered meals at the club grounds. Each holiday is covered by volunteer members. Off-season activities include the Annual Meeting and Spring Cleanup.
Ice - The club maintains a freezer with ice bags available for purchase during the sailing season.
Docks and Grounds - The docks and Southwind Yacht Club are owned and maintained by the Club. The Club provides general maintenance and insurance of the docks. The Docks and Grounds committee plans and organizes annual gatherings to clean up and maintain the grounds and docks.
Race - The racing committee plans and organizes numerous races throughout the sailing season. The committee establishes the race schedule and rules by which races are conducted.
